Juliet H. Arnison Design

My inspiration comes from sunlight and its effects on nature, which I capture whilst taking early morning walks in the local woods. I am fascinated by the shadows the sun casts, and the textures it highlights. Nature informs me in so many ways – from its soft earth tones and vibrant berries, the way linear, geometric and abstract patterns are formed, to its play with scale of delicate flowers to huge towering trees.

 

I use this inspiration as a Surface Designer to create manipulated surfaces, combining soft and hard materials. By letting light cast through my work it picks out the subtle textures, colours and surfaces. These are adaptable in varying scales for commercial and domestic interiors.
